This sidebar allows you to zero in on what posts you want to look at. You can select a date range and individual filters. When the box next to a filter is full, that means you will see posts that meet that criterion.
Select the date range of posts you'd like to see. We will show you all posts that have either been published or are scheduled to publish for that date range. We default a date range, but you can change it by clicking the calendar icons and adjust the "from" and "to" dates.
Choose to see posts that have already been published (sent), are scheduled for the future, or both combined.
Select which campaigns you'd like to see or not see. We will bring back all campaigns within the date range you've selected.
Select which post types you'd like to see or not see. For example, if you deselect "Links," you'll see all types of posts except Links.
Select the network destinations to which you've published that should appear in the feed.
My posts shows you what your posts will look like when they publish to your social networks. In this view, you'll see all the posts you've scheduled or sent for whatever time period you've indicated in the left-hand "Filter Posts" box.
Things you can do in the "My Posts" column:
See when posts are scheduled to go out, or when they went out. Also to which social networks they published and the campaign name.
In the bottom right-hand corner of each post, you'll see an icon that tells you what type of post it is (Link, Status Update, Question, etc.).
Change the date, time, and comment for scheduled posts. Just place your mouse cursor over the post you want and click the "edit" button. (You are only able to edit posts that haven't yet published.) You can't edit any Links you've created. To edit Links, delete the one you don't want and create a new post by clicking the big, blue buttons in the right-hand corner.
Remove posts you don't want to go out. Place your mouse over the post you want to delete and click the "x" icon in the upper-right. (You can't delete posts that have already published.)
Click "recent" next to "sort:" to view your posts as either sorted by most recent or least recent.
When you're ready to create more posts, just click either the "Single Post" or "Campaign" button in the upper-right of the page.
Circles is a sharing network. Invite in your friends and colleagues, and you can prompt each other to share posts. This will help your marketing message get in front of people not currently in your networks.
On My Posts, you'll see all the Posts you've sent or scheduled to go out. Place your mouse over any of these, and you'll see a "Send to my Circle" button. Click that button, and you'll be able to select the Circle Members you'd like to request to share your post. Roost sends these requests via email.
Hover over "My Reach" in the header of this page. A box will pop up explaining your Reach. Click the "Invite to My Circle" button.
Your Reach tells you how many people you can touch with your social marketing posts. This includes the audience you publish to in Roost (your Facebook Friends, Facebook Fan, and/or Twitter Followers) as well as the audiences of your Circle Members. While you won't achieve your full Reach with every post, it's a good indicator of your marketing power. The larger your Reach, the easier it will be to build your personal audience.
Circles is all about reciprocity. If you share your Circles' posts, they'll share yours. Everyone benefits. It also helps you easily bring interesting and useful content to your audience.
You can remove Circle Members by clicking the "x" on a Circle Profile. This will remove the Member from your Circle list and remove you from his or hers. If you'd rather not completely remove a Member, just click the "mute" button. This will keep you from receiving Share Requests without removing the Member.
This is the total number of people subscribed to the social media destinations you manage with Roost, e.g. Facebook Page Fans, Facebook Friends, and Twitter Followers.
This is the total number of people subscribed to your Circle's destinations (their fans, friends, and followers). The larger your Circle Reach, the more effective your Circle Requests will be.
This number combines your Reach and your Circle Reach to show you how many people you can reach with a single post (provided you share it with your entire Circle).
Don't forget to invite friends and colleagues to your Roost Circle to help you get your message out!
